Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady sparked controversy with his comments on the team's 2025 season.
The Silver and Black finished with the worst record in the NFL, and Brady noted that the entire team needs to improve heading into the 2026 NFL season.
Brady stated on the Stick to Football podcast that "everybody needs to improve" and that it starts with him.
He added that the players need to perform at a high level, which drew criticism from NBC Sports NFL insider Mike Florio.
Florio called out Brady for wanting to be involved with the team while also working as a lead color commentator for FOX Sports.
Florio urged Brady to pick one lane and either help the Raiders in their rebuild or sell his percentage and focus on his craft as a commentator.
The Las Vegas Raiders are currently standing 11th in the National Football Conference with an 8-9 record, on a W4 streak.
The team will face the Miami Dolphins on September 13, 2026, in their next game.
Former Raiders wide receiver Tim Brown shared his thoughts on the team's improvements, saying they had the best offseason since he was drafted.
Brown praised the team's additions, including defensive and offensive linemen, which he believes will help the team win games in critical situations.
And with the 2026 NFL season approaching, the Las Vegas Raiders will look to turn their season around and make a push for the playoffs.
But for now, the team is focused on their upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins.
So the Las Vegas Raiders will need to bring their A-game if they want to come out on top.
